Tide curve.
Orange dots are high tides, white dots are low tides.
Day by day
High and low, every day.
Springs and neaps: tides run biggest a day or two after new and full moon (springs) and smallest around the quarter moons (neaps). Springs mean stronger current at the river mouth and more exposed rock at low tide.
The tide curve comes from a global ocean model (Open-Meteo, CC BY 4.0), not a harbour tide gauge. Times can be out by up to an hour and the real range is bigger than shown. For anything that matters, check the official SA Navy Hydrographic Office tide tables for Durban or Port Shepstone.
