Who is responsible

FactSmith Sites is run by SELECT STAR DATA ENGINEERS (Pty) Ltd, South Africa. Questions about your information go toemilio@factsmith.co.za.

Visit statistics

We use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived (a search, a link, or directly), approximate location (country and city), and device and browser type. Google Analytics sets cookies so a repeat visit is not counted as a new visitor. It does not give us your name, and it does not store your IP address.

We use this only to see which pages are useful and how people find the site. It is not used for advertising and it is not sold. Detailed visit data is kept for two months; after that only totals remain. Google processes this data for us and may do so outside South Africa.

Enquiries

If you book a consult, the booking is handled by Cal.com, a scheduling service, and we receive your name, email and the time you pick. If you WhatsApp or email us instead, we see what you send there.

We use your enquiry only to reply and, if you go ahead, to build your site. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we keep it only as long as we need it for that.

Your choices

• Block or delete cookies in your browser, or install Google'sAnalytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same without them.
• Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, atemilio@factsmith.co.za.
• If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to theInformation Regulator.
